Nicholas Mason has been involved with music education since 2001. Providing both private one-on-one Drum & Percussion Lessons, as well as Performance Clinics, Technical Workshops, Band Coaching and Production. Many of his students have gone onto their own careers as Touring and Recording Artists, and even fellow Music Educators. He is also a staff member of the performance based School of Rock, in Burbank, CA.
In-Person private lessons are currently only available for the greater Los Angeles Area. These can be conducted both in-home or at Nick’s private studio. Online lessons can be conducted from anywhere! Percussion Lessons can include, but not limited to, contemporary Drum Set, Marching Percussion, Orchestral Percussion.

Nick is a teacher WHO MAKES TEACHERS!! A lot of the techniques I use to teach come from how Nick taught me. He can always find your weaknesses and know exactly how to push you to get better and conquer them, all while maintaining a super positive and supportive environment. I have so many positive memories learning from Nick, and feel really grateful to have been one of his students. Not only for the time I put in with him, but still having a mentor I can always turn to whenever I hit a roadblock to this day!!
